May the odds be ever in your favor
The hunger games written by Suzanne Collins it the first book in a trilogy the book takes place in the future and in the country Panem were tries the 13 districts to make a revolt against the power. One district is completely destroyed; the reaming twelve receives a hard punishment. Every year a boy and a girl from each district will be drawn in a lottery. The gain is to become a tribute in a present gladiatorial game live on TV. There is one winner, the one that survives.
Is a cruel book about a sick world, a class society where money gives you a free will. If you don’t have it you and your family is just a part in the rich people’s game. Humans are not treated like humans in this book. Children murdering children isn’t pleasant to read about. But they have no other choice. It’s killing or be killed that are their opportunities. I hope that we never will get there. We can find people in this world that are killing for not to be killed, in the meantime are we having a good time here in the richer countries. We are watching people do the most disgusting, scary, intimate thing on TV and we want to see more. We are sick in many ways. Can we say no? It is easy to sit home in the sofa thinking that what's shown on the TV isn't real. I think that's how the people in the capital of Panem thinks. That's not real, too far away. Watching news sometimes dosen't feel real, maby it's easier to deal with all the bad things that is happening in this world if you think like that. Maby it is necessery for not becoming crazy about the fact that you can't help every one no matter how badly you even want. I hope we are long way from a real hunger games, I do also hope that we never wil enjoy watching people kill other people. There is a big difference between life and death and forcing some one and free will.
